New Dwelling - Southampton
Southampton based contractor Daintree Developments Ltd, were appointed by First Wessex Housing Association to construct a new bungalow and provide vital affordable housing.
The project was required by local planning policy and the Housing Corporation funding requirement to meet Code for Sustainable Homes level 4 standards.
We were able to provide the developer with a site strategy to maximise the energy and sustainability credits available. The final project incorporated a traditional gas boiler and an array of photovoltaic solar panels on the property.
Upon completion of the building works our onsite testing engineers visited site to certify the Air Permeability rating and Ventilation Extract Testing for the building control officer’s final inspection and completion certificate, also our energy assessment team completed the EPC's and as built SAP calculations. Our team were also able to provide Daintree Developments Ltd with Code for Sustainable Homes certification within 7days.
