The kit includes 2 x 80mm split liner tapes for helping you install airtight windows and doors into your openings or cavity closers. Simply peel off the 12mm split liner and adhere to the window frame and then remove the remaining liner to adhere to your cavity closer or window reveal. Additional the Vara Seal tape is felt backed so can be directly plastered straight over, ideal for when solid plastering.
The kit also includes 2 x 60mm airtight tapes which are great for helping to seal and join membranes and penetrations within the building envelope.
Using the Acraprime Spray, you can prepare (primer) any concrete or masonry blockwork ready for taping. This will ensure the best possible adhesion for any porous materials and is quick and easy to apply, no messy brushes!
Using the included Passive Purple Brush VCL you can airtight seal any number of difficult and hard to reach places where trying to tape is hard. Simply brush over any cracks or joints. Ideal for sealing built-in joist ends and any gaps where the cavity closer abuts the inner leaf blockwork. It can also be used to seal around pipes, cables and ductwork penetrating any masonry.
Finally, use the 2 airtight cable grommets to seal any penetrations in the building envelope. a great example are outside light cables or the outside water tap pipe. Also includes are 2 110mm pipe grommets ideal for sealing SVP pipes penetrations in the floor or roof space.
