Alma Vert is a recycled panel (sheet size 1.0x1.2m) used for hi-performance structural insulation with a thermal conductivity of 0.036 W/m.K.
Typically +50% cheaper than Compacfoam.
Plus order 15 sheets or more of any AlmaVert product to receive an extra 5% discount at checkout plus FREE delivery.
Ideal for use in PassiveHaus and traditional timberframe construction to form a highly efficient thermal bridge free window installation used to form cavity closers around windows and doors in lieu of standard timber battens which can rot and is highly conductive.
The Alma Vert 115 KG/m³ has a lower compressive and bending strength compared to the 180 KG/m³ meaning it shouldn't be used when point loads for window shims or packers are used. Where point loads occur use the 180 KG/m³ version, its stronger and can better support the weight of the window or door.
1 Sheet of Alma Vert can be cut into 50mm battens and will provide approximately 27.6m (linear meters), that's enough to cavity close nearly 6 standard windows at (1.2m x 1.2m) in size.
